Tate Metalworks has been fabricating API storage tanks and ASME pressure vessels in the Upstate of South Carolina for over 50 years. We have developed a reputation of delivering high quality products and become a valued partner with our clients. Our 55,000 square foot facility is home to our modern CNC burning, forming and welding equipment used in the fabrication of our tanks and vessels. We have over 100,000 square feet under to crane used to manage our laydown area and move sub assemblies and accessories through out our shop.
We are capable of fabricating API storage tanks and ASME vessels less than 14 feet in diameter, up to 200 feet long, delivering them across the United States.
Our shop Welders are certified welders under Section IX of the ASME Code.
At Tate Metalworks, quality is not just a goal– it is built into every step of our process.
We maintain full control from material arrival to project completion, ensuring traceability and precision at every stage. Our quality standards exceed industry benchmarks, adhering strictly to the ASME Section VIII Quality Control Program. Through our proprietary tracking system, we know where every piece is going prior to it being installed on the tank.
Our quality standards begin with our experienced Draftsman and end with our Certified Welding Inspector.
We collaborate with various industries to produce steel and alloy plate structures such as industrial storage tanks, pressure vessels, stacks, silos and more.
